Remember, we offer residential courses for you and your horse (livery for two horses available here, B&B accomodation separately available nearby) if you would like to come for intensive tuition here at TDS.  Many clients who live far away find that coming two or three times per year (or more!) for a couple of days or longer helps them to really progress, and receive enough homework to keep them busy until their return.  It is also a cost effective way of getting quality training without the necessity for weekly/fortnightly lessons.

Clinics can be run with a variety of formats to suit your requirements.  Lindsay travels throughout the UK; travel costs may apply- contact us for the number of tuition sessions required (usually minimum 4 hours of tuition for counties surrounding Derbyshire, more for venues further afield).  Lindsay offers group formats (Trinity of Infinity workshops) or individual tuition both dismounted and mounted.

Travel costs, if applicable, are kept to a minimum. 

Day workshops plus individual ridden tuition if required

A very popular and fun format is the 'Trinity of Inifinity' workshops, with a minimum number of 4, and maximum 6 participants.  This whole day of tution offers real value, with many different aspects and new 'tools' for the rider to apply.  Dismounted analysis and alignment session for each person on the wooden saddle horse (this section takes around 1.5hrs), a session on breathing techniques, then tension release exercises for the group using small equipment and finally a centring session including exercises to improve core stability, flexibility and balance.  A usual start time of 9.30, including 45 mins for lunch, takes us up to around 2pm.  Then each rider can have a half hour ( if there are six) or 45 minute (if there are 4) lesson on their own horses to put new skills into practice.  An item of small equipment used during the workshop is included in the fee for each person, so effective practising can be continued at home!

A room large enough to accomodate the group lying down is necessary- all equipment is provided.

ORGANISERS- If you host an 'Individual tuition'  clinic comprising of a minimum of six sessions PLUS your own, one 45 minute session for you is free of charge!

Mounted sessions are generally dressage/flatwork lessons, incorporating rider/horse alignment corrections into your schooling.  When you are riding your horse in a training situation (ie not on the lunge), it is important that both of you stay focussed on working in a constructive way- Lindsay does not expect riders to focus on subtle concepts while allowing the horse to switch off!
